   The Last Unicorn is an amazing book! It has an interesting story line. The Last Unicorn was written
 by Peter S. Beagle. (Another note is that this book is not at all girly.) In The Last Unicorn the last unicorn sets out on a journey to find where all the other unicorns went.

The Last Unicorn



   The main characters in The Last Unicorn are (of course) the unicorn, Schmendrick (who is a magician), Molly Grue, and Prince Lir. The bad-guys are King haggard, and the red bull. The story takes place in a magical world where there are things like unicorns, dragons, witches, and giant bright red bulls. The setting at the beginning of the story is a large forest. In the middle of the story, there isn't really a setting dew to a lot of wandering. In the end of the story the setting is at a castle near the sea.

The Last Unicorn

   The unicorn finds out that people think unicorns are extinct. She levees her forest to find the other unicorns. On the way, she gets caught! This is where she meats Schmendrick. The unicorn escapes and continues on her journey. She ends up at Haggard's castle. She gets chased by the red bull, and changed into a women. A few things happen, she turns back into a unicorn, gets chased a little more, she chases the bull, and frees all the unicorns.

The Last Unicorn


   I liked The Last Unicorn because it has an entertaining story line. The best part of the story is when the unicorn chases the red bull into the sea, and all                  the unicorns com running out of the sea. There was nothing that I didn't like about the story. Boys will like the story because of the EPIC adventure. Girls will like the story because of the unicorns.


   So yea, The Last Unicorn was written by Peter S. Beagle. The main carictors are the unicorn, Schmendrick, Molly Grue, and prince Lir. The book is about a unicorn's journey. I think that you will like the book!
